TLC's Brochure Wins MIMA Gold Award

TLC, Portugal’s leading DMC, won the Meetings Industry Marketing Awards 2009 (MIMA 2009) for Best Brochure.

TLC were keen to meet two critical objectives through its award winning integrated communications campaign:

1) Change the way the public viewed Portugal. Dismissing preconceived ideas and replace them with new concepts and new ways of thinking, while preserving the "real" Portugal.

2) Clearly differenciate TLC's value as a partner, one which strives to make a real difference for its clients. The marketing program retain creative elements while presenting strategies and rationale in the midst of a more regulated events landscape.

Using the caption of “Tender loving Care” the brochure highlights the benefits of working with TLC and the value they add. “We have spent the past 12 months redefining our service proposition to better serve the international market”, says TLC Managing Director Diogo Assis. “The positive client feedback coupled with winning this important award, is proof that our business strategty is bringing results which is confirmed in current and future client billings”.

The Meetings Industry Marketing Awards (MIMA) was launched in 2002 to raise the standards of marketing in the meetings and events industry and to recognise the marketeers.
